Good News for the Jeep High Resale Value
The Kelly Blue Book's newest Study noted the Jeep Line up including the Toledo Liberty and Wrangle to have highest resale value amoung Domestic Brands. Last year not one U.S Brand made this list. Kelly predicted that current models of the Jeep Vehicles will be worth 35.7 % in 5 years, which would make it the sixth-best value amoung poplar brands.
The 2010 Jeep line was the only U.S.-owned brand to make the vehicle pricing service's top 10.
We all know the downturn in the economy has hit the real estate market hard. Kelley officials said, "Consumers are feeling the pinch not just in the depreciation of their home but also in the value of their vehicles."
"It's great news for us," said Dan Henneman. Jeep vehicles, especially the Wrangler, remain popular with buyers. Because of that, they don't last long in classified and Internet listings, he added. Among Wrangler models, the four-door Rubicon is among the most popular.
Officials of Kelley Blue Book said their projections are based on current vehicle data, market conditions for each vehicle, competition in each segment, expectations of the economy, and input from Kelley statisticians, economists, and pricing analysts.
The firm's projections for Jeep offered a bright spot in an otherwise gloomy report for Chrysler.
The 2010 Ford Taurus ranked as the best resale value among full-size cars and the Chevrolet Camaro SS was tops among high-performance cars.
